Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS)

Putut Rakhmad Purnama, M.Si., Ph.D

Course Overview

Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) is a powerful approach to uncover genetic variants associated with traits and diseases. This mini workshop will introduce the principles and workflows of GWAS, from data preparation and population structure correction to visualization and interpretation of results. Led by Putut Rakhmad Purnama, M.Si., Ph.D. from Universitas Negeri Surabaya , participants will gain both theoretical understanding and practical experience performing GWAS analysis using real data and open-source tools.
